(Alice in Borderland + my ocs) It was all supposed to be a quick visit to their home country, they were supposed to stay there for only a month. A single month, and they'd fly back home. But a simple bathroom trip turned into a detour to a different world. A world full of life or death situations, where you must participate in deadly games in order to extend your visa. Or in other words, to keep your precious life. OR basically; I gave into my temptations and made an oc insert of a fandom I thought I left in 2022, only to come up again 3 years later as my next hyperfixation. Might be inspired by Cat's Eyes by MalaMari on AO3 This is also posted on AO3 now, by the way! Written under the same title. (No I'm not gonna use a serious or proper book cover.)

You were shopping with one of your friends when suddenly the power goes out in the fitting room. A bit confused, you open the door, only to see that no one was there. All of Tokyo was deserted, but just when you thought your problem couldn't get any worse, a sign directed you to a so-called game arena. Soon you learned that if you wanted to live, you had to participate in deadly games. All while trying to figure out what this place was and how to get back.

How Arisu, for once, loses a game. In an alternate timeline, Arisu and Usagi believe they've conquered the deadly Borderlands after defeating the Queen of Hearts. The absence of the King of Hearts' airship in the sky convinces them their battle is over. But as they rest, tending to their wounds, the game master strikes when they least expect it. Victory was an illusion-now, the real nightmare begins. And what is with this strange tension between him and Chishiya?
