My first fanfic and it's one I've been wanting to do for a long time. It's been two years since the battle against Hakumen no Mono. The world is peaceful, even quiet, as Ushio enters into high school with Mayuko and Asako at his side. Then, out of the blue, a new student joins his class who reminds him too much of the past. Her eyes and aura resembling a yokai combined with her isolating nature was too enticing to avoid. Who was she? What was she? Why did she seem so familiar to all of them? And why did it seem like a darkness followed her wherever she went? Kyra is one who cared about people and wanted to help in anyway she could. That was two years ago. Things change, life changes, especially when you have Ushio Aotsuki chasing you around. Now she wants nothing to do with anyone if she can help it.
