Wakatoshi Ushijima is one of the top U19 volleyball players in the country, focused entirely on winning nationals and securing a future in his sport. His routine is simple: train, study, eat, sleep and repeat. No distractions. Then 16 year old, Kokomi Ayase moved in next door, she's new to town, join Shiratorizawa Academy after spending a whole year at Inarizakii High, and just happens to play volleyball too. She's bubbly, gorgeous and annoyingly fast on morning runs, Kokomi quickly becomes becomes part of Ushiwaka's daily life. What starts as casual training together slowly turns into late-night conversations, inside jokes and feelings that Ushiwaka does not have time to harbour. Balancing competitions, school and growing emotions gets harder with every day, especially when both of them are chasing dreams on the same court. Ever since being born, Hinata Shoyo had to cope being forgotten by his own parents in favor of his twin brother Shoto Hinata. He couldn't blame his parents since in their eyes, Shoto's future was bright since he was a hardworking and determined person, sure shoto might not be that smart and good at volleyball but he would put effort into it even if he failed.
