Alison Burns was 8 years old when her father, a second generation war veteran and Army Sergeant Major (SGM), was killed in Iraq. It's now 10 years later, Ally is 18 and is eligible for her own service tour enlistment. Desperately following in her father's footsteps, she an obsessively hardworking soldier, this gains her an accelerated promoted rate. Eventually, gaining the rank of Corporal in her 4th year of service. She soon receives her deployment orders after her reenlistment is processed. She serves 2 tours in Afghanistan and then continues on to Fairford Airforce base in England. But she hasn't exactly stayed in one piece though combat. He wears dark clothing, dog tags, doesn't fill out his medical history on his school forms, and wears a Punisher skull on his bicycle helmet. Ty and Hallie are grouped together to work on a project about a hero of their liking. Throughout this project Ty opens up to Hallie about the truth about himself. He lives with anxiety, depression, and diagnosed epilepsy. Ty reveals what it is like to live with epilepsy as a teenager. The risk of driving, forgetting to take medication, not being able to drink or stay out late, or go to raves with your friends is all a reality to him. As Ty and Hallie develop a relationship, Hallie is exposed to Ty's bravery by accompanying him to EEG tests and MRI appointments. She experiences what it is like for Ty to have a seizure and how it impacts his mental health. Although Ty sees his father (a American soldier who was killed) as the only hero he knows, Hallie sees Ty as the bravest person she knows.

Kim Possible is a girl who has a close relationship with her dad. She respects what he does and is glad that he believes in her, even as he can sometimes embarrass her. On the other hand, she sometimes struggles to explain to him when he does the latter, or how she has grown out of things, not wanting to hurt his feelings. In this story, Kim is proud of her dad's work in assisting the Ukrainians in fighting the invading Russian forces. She believes he is helping fight for "freedom" and even travels to the space center with him. However, when she reads a pamphlet for a group called Middleton Peace Action, given to her by her good friend Monique, and attends their meeting, her beliefs are challenged. The new battleship 'Montana', a North American ship boy The light cruiser 'Cleveland', an Eagle Union ship girl The galleon 'Black Pearl', a living ship from the 1800's and Lincoln Loud, the only average joe of the group. Together this squad shall fight Sirens, 'His Majesty's Royal Navy', China, Russia, and other things I shall mention later.
