Nina Rosario, 19, arrives home after her first year of being away from her family and the people she grew up with in Washington Heights, New York. She had been at Stanford University in California when things started tumbling down. The only safe place for her was the fire escape of her parents apartment back home. Her older brother, Lincoln, 24, works for her father as well as one of her closest friends Benny, 24, who she's had a crush on since she was 13. However she didn't think it was socially acceptable to date your older brothers best friend. The close knit community of the 181st street and Fort Washington Ave corner was something Nina always loved. And she hoped that coming home to her friends and family would make her situation a lot easier. ~~~~~ This is an in The Heights Fan Fiction based on the 2008 Tony winning Musical. This story is centred around Nina Rosario and her troubles and relationships with the other people of the barrio. I'm incorporating all the aspects of the show including Cut songs from workshops (My Fire Escape) and Off-Broadway (Hear Me Out). Ninas brother, Lincoln, who is best friends with Usnavi and Benny. The rest of the characters are the same age and relationships in the Original Broadway Production.
