A reader/underswap papyrus fanfic! In the eight months since monsters had returned to the surface, a lot had changed for just about everyone. Little did you know that a certain monster would change your life. This continuation of an old story I wrote years ago! After some unfortunate events with your 'most trusted' people you knew, Papyrus knew just how to help, but what happens if feelings get caught up in the middle of all of this?

UT Papyrus was just walking around, talking to his friends, US!Papyrus (AKA Carrot) and UF!Papyrus (AKA Edge), and they saw a really weird-looking tree with an aura that can't be explained. By the way, the category might be mystery, but this is also a comedy lol Also - laziest excuse in the book, I know - this is my AU, where UT Papyrus knows about resets and AUs. A blue skeleton, unable to hurt the honest, optimistic, human crying in front of him as they battle, is killed close to last, trying to protect Frisk. The child is the last to go, and in the worst condition. Curt is let go of by the demon Chara, bloodied and filled with GUILT. He wants to avenge his friends and family, but finds he has too much FORGIVENESS. He is killed in the end too, but finds he can RESET.
