In a distant future, humans and anthropomorphic animals live side by side in perfect harmony. Sharing cities, careers, and equal rights, they believe this peaceful coexistence is how the world has always been. But when a young human uncovers an erased piece of history, a terrifying truth begins to surface: animals were not always intelligent-and the reason why has been deliberately forgotten. As the revelation spreads, fear replaces trust. Society fractures. Humans turn on animals, animals retreat in terror, and the world teeters on the edge of collapse. Caught in the chaos, a small group of young humans and animals race to uncover the truth behind the lost past-one powerful enough to either heal the world or destroy it forever. The Age of Unison is a gripping science-fiction tale about unity, fear, and the dangerous cost of forgotten history.

We all dream of a place filled with peace and everything we desire, a utopian world. While it might seem perfect, it's doomed to fail at one point or another, no matter what you do. That type of world used to exist here in America. Before the bombs, a fortunate minority of the population made it in the vaults that shield us from outside dangers. Unfortunately that utopian world ended on October 23 at 9:26 am 2077, Bombs colored the sky in an orange color with radiation and ash for weeks on end, the radiation still lasts to this day and probably for 100s of years to come. We know one thing for sure: War. War never changes.

"Uh, Hunk? Some help, please? There's gotta be a way to open this thing!" [Muffled auditory signals, coming from above. Overheated, system failure.] "Uh... I don't know, Pidge, I don't usually go around opening up strange, wrecked alien ships!" "Oh, c'mon! Don't be such a baby and help me! Put those huge arms to use!" The year is 5036. Humans have long since settled into a comfortable, albeit somewhat unwanted, harmony with the powerful Alteans on the 10th and last floor. Humanity is crammed between level 2 and 8, densely packed. Floor 1 is just below the Earth's sufrace and has for thousands of years been dedicated to the shunned Garlas. 90% of the Earth's surface area is built upon, only one ocean remaining. Then... One day a strange, hidden visitor somehow manages to crash land on the second floor city-system Panthera. Pidge and Hunk decide to awaken it.

Sassy parkour runner Scarlett Banks, is mysteriously exiled from Mars. Arriving she collides with Dante Tyrell the Earth's resident gorgeous bad boy. A man so impenitent he doesn't hesitate to share his public dislike for Martians. Scarlett gives as good as she gets and isn't interested in someone who can't even say where he has been for the last year. However, Scarlett is now in a future Earth, where robots do all the work. The machines paying people to do, well nothing but look for the next party, the next drink and the next kiss. The robots think this sounds like a recipe for paradise but Scarlett isn't so sure. It would also be so much easier if she didn't keep running into the infuriating Dante. Into this Scarlett meets Io, a girl who was raised by robots in space. So much so that she might fail the test for being human and be sold off as a 'flesh bot'. This can't be good. With only her sharp wit, sarcastic earrings, and skills at parkour. Scarlett and her robot Kentro set out to stop her friend Io's 'reprocessing'. As for Dante, well that's a different matter. There was a note next to the bed. "YOUR DINNER IS IN THE OVEN" it began followed by PTO on the other side, it had "THE OVEN IS IN THE PIZZA SHOP DOWN THE ROAD." Oh right. Think 'Jeeves and Wooster' meets 'The Martian' Highest #9 in Science Fiction A Kickass book from the authors of the popular #1 SciFi hit 'I'm a cyborg's pet'. Think of it as Cyborg's pet's Darker, funnier, more evil twin. ( look at the accolades, 3 of which are real ) @Crazy_Awesome I like badass Scar. xD @Pixielala I'm laughing too hard right now.... just so you know.... @SaroofHassan Everyone's looking at me weird for laughing out loud @RealDonaldTrump - this is absolutely the greatest book ever written, believe me. PG 13 - contains humour, swearing, loud music, flashing lights & nuts but is Gluten-free.
