At every turn humans were making worse and worse mistakes when it came to love, and the human race was dying out, and that was a race that we could not afford to lose. Who was going to save the human race? What was going to save the human race? The answer... doctors and souls.

Male population declined, what with the perfection of creating sperm from bone marrow, and being able to choose your child's gender. Men disappeared from society, and with that, society progressed into small utopias dotted all over the globe, threatened only by the wasteland creatures. Until someone woke up... Slow paced narrative set in a world awakened to panpsychism and innate abilities following the fall and rise of society. A gentle approach to world building with a bit of humor, romanticism, and just enough hints of drama without going into it. When everyone writes about how it could all go wrong or what happens after it does; who wants to read about what happens if it just goes right for once? Still conflict and drama but, the hard work is already done. Now you just get to see a glimpse of what happens in a reality where it all works out.
