Neon lights flicker. Arcade machines hum without power. The air feels wrong, like something unseen is watching them from the dark.

Nagito komaeda is the world's most unluckiest guy, until he met him... This is my first fanfic so it's not that great. There will be some naegami moments and if you would like other ships involved then please feel free to ask.This is a non despair story but it is set in hopes peak academy and they have their ultimate talents. I'm the ultimate detective, a title I honestly don't deserve. Hope's Peak Academy. An academy for all teens with an ultimate talent. "The hope of this country", or that is what everyone says, is this school really what it seems? Anyway, we were normal teens once. He was on top of this war-struck totem; the next apex predator- no, the last apex predator in line to dominate this endless metal food chain. He was mankind's final failsafe, destined to awaken if all other hope was lost, constructed to bring a dream of salvation. But he didn't awaken. He was too late, his purpose now meaningless. Now G.L and his integrated AI, C_AM must find purpose once more in this world of ash and rust, or at the very least avenge the souls of those he failed to protect.
