But it was a lie. G.L was created for the twilight of the war, even if his existence was questionable at best. He was on top of this war-struck totem; the next apex predator- no, the last apex predator in line to dominate this endless metal food chain. He was mankind's final failsafe, destined to awaken if all other hope was lost, constructed to bring a dream of salvation. But he didn't awaken. He was too late, his purpose now meaningless. Now G.L and his integrated AI, C_AM must find purpose once more in this world of ash and rust, or at the very least avenge the souls of those he failed to protect.
