Sophie had had enough when she saw the bruises on her sister's arm! She planned an escape for them which worked out until they met a guy who was hiding yet, in plain sight. then, strange things began to happen, was he a friend or a foe?

This is in memory of a man who lost his life on a sunny, seemingly peaceful Saturday. An acknowledgment to the loss of my innocent veil protecting me from the true realization of death. A tribute of words to the haunting vision of vacant eyes.

Something just doesn't seem right.

Cold. Vacant. Empty. After receiving a haunting message by an unknown sender, Jade Adams decides to find out who sent it and if it has something to do with her stepfather’s death. Clutching the family photo that came with the message, she seeks out Detective Andrew Richardson, the nephew of her stepfather’s brother-in-law. Hoping that she can find something that will replace the emptiness she is left after losing everyone she cared about. News about a drug addict who went on a rampage killing five people and escaped became the subject of every conversation in the agency. For Andrew Richardson, keeping track of the case is one of his top priorities, especially if one of the victims is the brother-in-law of his uncle. When denied hold of the case for the reason that he may take it too personal, he decides to investigate on his own. That’s when the stepdaughter calls him for his help. Loss. Betrayal. Danger. Lies. Is her life fated for anything unfortunate? Will she discover something that will lead to a piece of happiness? Or will she remain cold, vacant, empty Jade Adams who looks like a still doll.
