A deadly virus plagues the Earth and political tensions have already destroyed most of Britain. Each character is part of the testing process of a new vaccine, Aero284 that is due to be deployed as an aerosol throughout all of America. Unfortunately, the cogs in the system are snagged, and something goes drastically wrong with the deployment. Billions are killed. The characters, six of the last people left in all of America must get to Vermont, the last populated place on this side of the world. Meanwhile, a child detective yearns to enact justice upon the person responsible for the sabotage of the vaccine.

A group of teenagers find themselves on a school trip for a presentation. They find themselves being locked up by the president. An apocalypse occurs, but no one explains why. The doors never reopen. The outside world goes silent. No calls. No internet. No rescue. Only questions. Then people begin to die. And worse... some begin to come back. As fear spreads and trust begins to break, the group realizes their survival isn't luck. It's planned. They aren't just survivors. They're being watched. Tested. Chosen. But for what? The sequel to "Rats: Shai's Story" Now in Royale, Teagan is in line to be the King. His Aunt, and current Queen, Cambrie is not willing to let the crown be passed down to Teagan. Cambrie claims that Teagan is unfit to take over as King because he grew up into the Slums. She claims that her own son is more suited to be King. Teagan claims that Shai, Jasper, and Mikko are allowed to stay in Royale. Shai and Jasper have to go into intense training to try and make them more "civilized". Mikko uses his time to try and get more banned technology. Back in Pangella, Kirby is finishing the final touches on the AQ57 virus. He is bringing it to Royale upon request of the Cambrie. Jasper is still obsessed with the idea to start a rebellion. Teagen's childhood best friend is now the head of the army. He becomes a big factor in if they will ever make any change in society.

As we are getting to the light of the tunnel and now that people 16+ can get vaccinated, Cyrus and TJ take on the vaccine.

"We are all in this together." The claim was heard, read, sung and repeated many times during the COVID-19 Pandemic. But how together were we? In this book, I will try and put together the stories of real people from many places around the world into poems I've written during the Pandemic.
