A young digital artist joins an aspiring valedictorian in her recklessly escalating schemes, from calculated late-night break-ins to launching borderline -legal homemade fireworks, for a chance at confession before graduation. Hanna Briggs loves to bake. She spends most of her time in her mother's bakery. But one day it was burned down, and she had to move in with her father. Going to a new school and meeting new people. For her it was terrifying especially when she caught the attention of the school's perfectionist. Darren Logan never wanted any romantic relationship with anyone. Alex Richardson gained a reputation as being next year's valedictorian. Winnie Tracy was the school's popular athlete and quiet observer. Despite attending the same schools since second grade, Winnie and Alex never crossed paths worthy of a noticeable mention. Neither would be able to recall the other existing within the same small city before Junior year of high school where they shared the same schedule. Class-by-class they practically followed each other into the next period where they would spend yet another hour together.
