The only men that Zoey needs for Valentines Day are; Louie, Manolo, and Stuart. They aren't really men though they are designer shoes. She's spent the last few Valentines adding to her massive collection; they are really all she needs after being burned by the same guy for years. When Zoey takes her usual Valentines trip to her favorite store she's not only tempted by a boot instead of a heel, but taken back by the unfamiliar man working at the store. She's not too happy when he makes her contemplate her feelings for boots, and her feelings about love all on the same night. Her life is turned upside down when she returns home from her night out, and in that moment she realizes that she might have to make a few adjustments to her life, which might include letting in some new shoes, and maybe love too.

my submission for the valentino's valentine contest 2019. Samarah Moss knows how to love, to fight, to die. She knows that on Valentine's Day, she's alone. She knows that buying herself a new pair of Valentino's shoes has always worked to battle the loneliness - somehow. She isn't so sure anymore. And then she meets Valentina Elliott. (or at least, that could be the blurb of my story if i had been able to use more than 3k words - at the moment, both my protagonists remain nameless, except for the dog. if there's enough interest in this, i might expand on this someday. there are a lot of ideas i hadn't been able to fit in here. but i hope you like this nevertheless! <3)
