Born and raised at Haly's Circus, Her older brother Jerome suffered a psychotic break at the age of 19 and murdered their mother which lead to his arrest and incarnation at Arkham Asylum. Following a breakout with other inmates by Theo Galavan he searched for his sister so he can get her to be as bad as he is and he became the leader of The Maniax group who brought terror upon the city. This lead to his betrayal and murder at Galavan's hands which lead to Jeramey to be on the edge of insanity, but if it wasn't for him.. Jim Gordon who took her under his wing treating her like his very own then she wouldn't have the will to fight back and live her new adventure filled life. That night was the end of my world, he wormed his way into my mind before his brother broke the last strain of self control he had. Jerome created a monster that was even worse than his reign of terror on Gotham. I knew Jeremiah was a monster, yet I couldn't stop myself; I wondered if I was just crazy or if it was the insanity gas. Jeremiah put his hand around my neck, and pulled me closer to him with his free hand he pushed my hair behind my ear so he could lean it; "You're beautiful" he whispered. It sent shivers down my spine, his normally cold voice had warmth and life like it did before the tragedy, he sounded like his old self. Ava is a computer engineer who worked along Jeremiah in a secret facility that was founded by Wayne Enterprise, little to there knowledge it was a branch of Indian Hill. Ava loyal to her work, has to face a decision between the love she has for Jeremiah or her love for Jim Gordon. Oh and that's besides the fact she becomes one of Doctor Strange's experiments.
