Valinor Stories

Just some helpful, easily condensed Tolkien lore for myself and others hoping to accurately explore Arda in fanfiction. I, Silz (as ElwingAndEarendil), was part of the SSG (Silmarillion Survival Guide) team on CouncilofElrond.com which put together a helpful Silmarillion guide for new and old readers alike. This book here is to further that concept and help with all sorts of Tolkien things, including notes in the History of Middle Earth volumes and other published writings.

This is a short sequel to my story 'Light and Shadows' focused on the characters and their relationships after they reach Valinor. The battles are finally over but how easy is it for our heroes to start over in Valinor and create a new life from scratch? Though they finally live in peace, are truly all shadows gone from their hearts? Thranduil has a second son called Amrod. Legolas finds love. All those who departed Middle-Earth start a new life in the Blessed Realm. I have always wanted to write about what happens after they all sail West! I just love the world and want to fill in some narrative gaps in the First Age. Samwise Gamgee leaves for Valinor to be reunited with Frodo Baggins, his best friend. This is the first book I've ever written, so I apologise is it is boring, or just really bad.
