Unlike much of his 'insane, blasphemous, kinslaying' family, Calëno had little desire to follow his father's side across the sea. Sure, he missed them, but he had a mother and baby sister to care for-something not even his father cared to do. When you are part of the infamous Feanorian family, it becomes difficult to hide from the rumors of what your family is doing across the seas, even if you have no part in their deeds. (A spin-off from my Vanafin Silmarillion fanfic, may occasionally see a reference to the ocs of that series).

This is a short sequel to my story 'Light and Shadows' focused on the characters and their relationships after they reach Valinor. The battles are finally over but how easy is it for our heroes to start over in Valinor and create a new life from scratch? Though they finally live in peace, are truly all shadows gone from their hearts? Thranduil has a second son called Amrod. Legolas finds love. All those who departed Middle-Earth start a new life in the Blessed Realm. I have always wanted to write about what happens after they all sail West! An elf awakens on the shores of Cuiviénen and discovers she is not alone. Thrust into a tribe and discovering her mate too early, she struggles to find herself as her people unite in their struggles against Morgoth. I just love the world and want to fill in some narrative gaps in the First Age. Thranduil fanfic by Nasyuu. After the war in the Lonely Mountain, The Elvenking, King Thranduil went back to Mirkwood with his armies without his son Legolas. After reaching his land near the northern part of the Forest-river, Thranduil's mind and heart are full of memories, sorrows, and regrets. But instead of crying for himself, he heard someone cry for him. The crying sound of an elleth. Who would that be? I assure you this fanfic is 100% my idea supported by stories from Tolkien ofc, hopefully, there'll be some unexpected plot twist, but please don't expect too much haha. Anyway, all characters that are not mine (original characters) are fully Tolkien's.

Just some helpful, easily condensed Tolkien lore for myself and others hoping to accurately explore Arda in fanfiction. I, Silz (as ElwingAndEarendil), was part of the SSG (Silmarillion Survival Guide) team on CouncilofElrond.com which put together a helpful Silmarillion guide for new and old readers alike. This book here is to further that concept and help with all sorts of Tolkien things, including notes in the History of Middle Earth volumes and other published writings.
