In the e-mail, he is informed that he is one of the 300 players chosen to play the game which is in beta phase. Following the instructions, Hiro meets Arisa Ferrer, a high-class girl who is also one of the 300 beta testers for Valkyria. Hiro created an Assist-type Einherjar to start the game. The game combines traditional RPG elements with heroic battles to secure and destroy objectives in randomly-generated maps.
