When Valkyrie admits her feelings to Skulduggery he freezes because he cannot believe anyone would say that to him, he doesn't believe he is worth it. When he "wakes up" he realises that Valkyrie has ran away, she avoids his calls and everything that reminds her of him. He overhears Tanith mention that she has been calling her and "interrogates" her. She tells him that Valkyrie has been calling her for news. He gets to her in time to save her from something and they live happily ever after... Maybe...

*Undergoing some editing* Everyone just kind of assumed the last of the ancients died,well they were wrong. With more power than Darquesse herself the last of the ancients is going to destroy all sorcerers, but unfortunately the gang are a man down thanks to the fact that the last of the ancients is mind controlling Skulduggery into being Lord Vile.

Valkyrie is struggling to control a new power she has found whilst Ghastly, Skulduggery and Tanith are trying to fight off and even more troubling power... the return of Baron Vengeous's brother. All the characters belong to Derek Landy apart from... well I'll make a list at the end of each chapter for new characters😁. Not based on any certain timeline.

After the escape of Melancholia from the sanctuary, the dead men must find out what she plans to do with her power. It all becomes harder when she teams up with Eliza Scorn to bring back the faceless ones...

This is a skulduggery pleasant fanfic. It is set after Kingdom of the Wicked.

*this story is set five years after DOTL, Ghastly, Kenspeckle and many other of Derek's awesome characters who unfortunately died are alive. (yay)* (when I started this, resurrection onwards didn't exist so, if you've read Derek Landy's awesome new books, just pretend they don't exist :)) Valkyrie's going back. After five years I America, she was going back to Ireland. She had no idea what she'd find when she got there, but she was about to find out. Things, people, and pretty much everything has changed. Including skulduggery. Both he and Valkyrie have discovered something that neither of them expected. And when an unexpected visitor shows up, the dead men will have to make sure they're focused enough for the task at hand...and make sure the world doesn't end in the process........ Again. The month of Halloween gets creepier and creepier for Valkyrie and Skulduggery when the Detective Duo find that a killer takes the 'month of the dead' too literally. The two partners find that they must stop the killer before midnight of all hallows or else the dead really will walk the earth. NOTE: First off a disclaimer for the cover, I don't own the picture nor the epically carved pumpkin. I also don't own Skulduggery Pleasant or any of the other characters in the book series, they belong to Derek Landy. And Lastly this book is set after KOTW so, SPOILERS!!! I'd like to get this finished for Halloween though I don't think that'll be the case ... *Shrugs* I will try to update a couple of times before then.
