Ever since I could remember, my father was always in wars; barely coming home for a week after a war was over. He was stationed overseas more than anything. He would miss everything important, like being in the service was his excuse for not attending his parent's funeral or any of my birthdays or the adoption of my younger brother. I just hope that he doesn't kill himself out there.
