KJ's robotics malfunctioning on a recent mission has led her to letting her team down and feeling like a failure. She believes a new threat is coming to Valorant, but her teammates are skeptical with her claims. She is set on figuring out who is messing with her devices with an aim to secretly prove to herself and others she is the superior genius than this unknown threat. Raze, missing KJ's quality time due to her current fixation, chips in to play along with KJ on her journey. They start to realize that maybe friendship is not a strong enough term to explain how they feel and act towards each other.

She didn't know who these people were, or why they were doing it, but she had a solid theory. That they wanted her, and were using those close to her to draw her out of hiding. To try and control her, to kill her, she didn't know. A new organisation contacted her out of the blue after a while, offering safety and help with her new abilities. What she didn't know, was this invitation would change her life. For better or for worse, we'll find out. * Action starts to ramp up chapter 10+. For the first time in a while, all the agents get to spend their night at headquarters to relax and enjoy a nice dinner together.
