Yuriko is Yuki's twin sister. When Yuki becomes a human Yuriko is forced to run away. The Phantomhives know of Yuriko's secret. Her being a vampire. They help her still and raise her as their own. After they die Yuriko and Ciel take over the business as the queens guard dog. Rido tricked Asato Ichijo into thinking that the sacrificial ceremony failed and he wasn't able to take The Hooded Woman's powers for himself, instead the child was stripped of her ability to drink blood, a grave punishment for a vampire. The child was put under the care of Asato Ichijo, a loyal follower of Rido Kuran, and kept hidden in the basement of the Senate.
