But, one Monday, she meets Jeremy--a dark, brooding vampire--who has been destined to be with her since age ten as only through marriage can she save his tribal vampire race.

The man looks down at me, his piercing green eyes roaming over me as I lay on the cold stone floor. His hair moves into his face, almost hiding the smirk forming on his lips. "I'll take this one, please." His voice echos off the walls, sending chills down my spine. The smirk on his face grows as he looks at my reaction. His stare then gives even more chills.

Three cold fingers pushed my hair further and further away. Finally I got my voice back and was about to start a scream when I heard an animalistic growl. The person behind me bent toward me at lightning speed and put his teeth in my neck. The first thing I felt was pain, I felt the teeth bore into my skin, someone press their lips against my neck and felt warm jets of blood flow into my shirt. I wrote this story a few years ago, I'm translating it from Dutch to English. I will be updating this story weekly. If I have more time multiple times per week.
