Pomegranate SOMEHOW managed to find this freaky forest, I mean there's barely anything on it! Other than cautionary tales...but lets be honest here, what could truly be lurking in terrain thats so untraversable..I mean other than them, and a particularly welcoming host.

Alchemist Cookie is still in shock when they get to his house. Both of them still haven't fully processed what just happened. (Based on a CRK AU I've had sitting in a Google Doc for a while. This is just a oneshot but I may write more for this AU in the future if I get the motivation)
