He closed in the space between them. "Because..." his hands ran through her bare skin. Sending shivers of pleasures down her spine. His lips landed by the side of her neck, he sucked slowly. "Does the rule...apply to you?" She asked amidst moans. He chuckled. "No dear, I make the rule, I do not follow the rule". She inched closer to him, that well feeling forming in the pit of her stomach. . . . The world has long gone to sheet and ruin when the vampires descended the earth and took over. Humans were made slave and to work for the vampires. Only those with money and power can escape such horrible fate. Families turned on one another, some sold their relatives, children, parents, cousins while some stayed true to each other. One of the family that stay true is Amelia and her mother, they worked together in the castle for the vampires. A vampire high lord once befriended a human, a little girl that he stumbled upon. She grew on him, he was a vampire and she a human. Humans and vampires can never be friends. Can he protect her from those who seek her, can he protect her from the court of vampires and lastly can he protect her from himself. SET IN ELIZABETHAN ERA

Emily and her family just moved to New Orleans. For her 18th birthday her old friends are coming over to celebrate and take her out to go clubbing. The next morning she doesn't wake up in her own bed. Not even in a bed. As Emily opens her eyes the first thing she feels is her head. I had fallen in love with a vampire I hate to admit it though because he takes me as his perfect little pet. I got adopted but I was expecting a little less than what I have I don't feel comfortable getting all of these gifts but I don't know why but something is telling me that I shouldn't have him as my soul mate but he and I might feel different about it.
