Vampirism has its own trials and tribulations. Stick around. Read these stories. Knuckles and Tails had decided to use the old den Sonic used to live in as a place to store and guard the master emerald and Sonic had gotten too know a new friend and potential love interest Amy Rose in his adventures. But one day, on a small race through the mountains and forest of California, Sonic and Shadow had come across a small abandoned town with a run down sign called 'Darkened-Dawn, est. 1898'. their lives, mostly Sonic's, turn upside down upon investigation.

Moving to South Korea? Check. Beginning studies in a mixed college? Check. Suddenly waking up feeling like shit, dying for no reasonable explanation, and somehow waking up again as a Vampire? Faced with the horror of being a monster, one must learn his place in life, while the other tries to protect the remains of his family, but can there truly be one foot in both doors, or will his humanity be the price paid for freedom? Only time will tell as the two brothers attempt to adjust to life, one as a monster, and one as a man.

After the vampirism incident and the defeat of Fyodor, the people of Yokohama can finally return to normal. Or as normal as a city like that can get. But some things stayed abnormal. Like the vampire issue. There wasn't any cure to that, so the living dead still roamed around the people. Well, excluding Akutagawa. He hasn't awoken since. So imagine Atsushi's suprise when he goes to visit his 'rival' and finds him awake and... different.
