After the vampirism incident and the defeat of Fyodor, the people of Yokohama can finally return to normal. Or as normal as a city like that can get. But some things stayed abnormal. Like the vampire issue. There wasn't any cure to that, so the living dead still roamed around the people. Well, excluding Akutagawa. He hasn't awoken since. So imagine Atsushi's suprise when he goes to visit his 'rival' and finds him awake and... different. (The events in recent manga chapters aren't included here, and I do not own any of the characters.) [My first fanfiction so there isn't the best grammar and writing skills, but I hope you enjoy! :D]

Vampires have become something very diluted and boring. Some stories escape the pot that are thrilling and fresh takes on this ancient lore, but on the whole in a generation of TWILIGHT and VAMPIRE DIARIES, I was angry the archetype had been so badly sanitised and romanticised. This is my attempt at fixing this problem.
