In the summer of 1975, three best friends hit the road.
School's out in San Rosario, and for Jody, Reggie, and Tommy, the world feels wide open. With a full tank of gas, a pack of smokes, and the deep growl of Jody's '71 Plymouth Cuda beneath them, they head south on California's coastal highway. Their destination? Gazzarri's on the Sunset Strip-where a new band called Van Halen is said to tear the roof off the place.
It's a road trip built on friendship, freedom, and the fire of youth-a long weekend where music is loud, girls are electric, and the future seems far away. But beneath the sunshine and laughter, something lingers in the shadow of memory.
Because for all its joy, this is the last summer before everything changes.
