Vanishing Stories

This is my first collection of poems, just a small journey through laugher, tears, and vanishing figures. The pages hold scenes of connection and then - disappearance. I hope you will be left with something more than just a poem that you have read and then forgotten in a matter of seconds. I hope you will be left with something out of reach, like a ghost in a summer rain. Thank you and enjoy.

The Vanishing Depths Everything can change in a single heartbeat. The Blue Ocean Institute was buzzing with the energy of a historic mission. The monitors were glowing, the engines were humming, and the world was ready to witness the impossible. But the sea doesn't always welcome those who try to pierce its veil. In the middle of the final countdown, the world flickered. One second of absolute, suffocating darkness. When the power returned, the silence was louder than any explosion. The water was still. The radar was dead. And what was there just a moment ago... was just gone. No bubbles. No wreckage. No explanation. Now, the echoes of a final scream still linger in the Control Room, and the abyss below is staring back with a terrifying, empty grin. Some secrets are too deep to be found. Others are too dark to be told.

What happened to those five remains a mystery to this day. When Emberly and her friends head out to Vermont for a hiking trip, they aren't expecting anything out of the ordinary. As she try to find her way home from the strange world, she begin uncovering secrets about what really happened seventy years ago, and who was behind it. Because the people who were responsible for the vanishings in the Bennington Triangle will stop at nothing to get Em if they learn she's in their world...

People and ships have been vanishing in the Bermuda Triangle for millennia. Aircraft and military submarines have joined that long list of mysterious disappearances in the last century. Even with the advent of GPS and other satellite navigation aids, ships and planes are still being lost, but the media no longer reports on it. They've been warned off, years ago. Finally, key governments have decided that enough is enough. They want to take the fight to this enemy, but how do you destroy something that nobody has ever seen...and lived to tell the tale? They have a plan but for anyone taking part, it's likely to be a one-way trip. Now, the secrets of the Bermuda Triangle will be revealed, and it will be far worse than anything possibly imagined!

Just some poetry I have written, nothing special. I write about strong emotions I feel whether its depression, deep love or appreciation.

Evaline's normal, dreary life changes in a split second as people everywhere shut down, including her mother. They sit and stare. Nothing more, nothing less. No one can make any connections between those who remain walking and talking and those who don't, so fear and dread rules over lives. That is until something changes. Something that changes everything and brings Evaline one step closer to understanding the worldwide panic called The Vanishing. (Alrighty so I have reread this story and I am not a fan, I am going to leave it here but I am not going to write anymore. I don't know how to continue it and only really like the prologue so unless someone convinces me or pushes me to rewrite it or to continue writing it, it shall be left like this forevermore!)

An unearthed skeleton bound with coins unleashes a curse, twisting the excavation site into a place of vanishing workers, shifting bones, and an evil presence that refuses to stay buried.

Amber and her husband Daniel just found out they were expecting their first child but Little does Daniel know that Amber doesn't want a baby , when she found out she considered abortion but she didn't want to lose her husband. She just wanted to be married, she didn't want a baby to come along and ruin everything . Nine months came fast and the baby was finally born but shortly after the birth the baby just disappeared. Daniel came home from work with cops surrounding the house . According to Amber she put the baby down for a nap and came back and the baby wasn't in the crib . Where was the baby ? Was it kidnapped ? Or did Amber have something to do with the disappearance?
