You were searching for the Book of Vanitas, a grimoire capable of corrupting one's true name and sentencing its victims to a fate crueller and less forgiving than death. On your search, you come across a very odd human boy. He was arrogant, distant and seemingly carefree despite being unable to shake off the look of despair and loneliness in his eyes. He was a mystery to you but that simply drew you closer.
