On tour, time doesn't move the way it's supposed to - but at first, that feels like freedom. When Lyra Everylyn leaves Toronto to join her band on a cross-border summer tour, everything feels new and electric. Early mornings come with foggy beaches and hot coffee, nights stretch long past venue curfews, and the bus hums with the quiet thrill of finally going somewhere. The world feels bigger. Possibility feels close enough to touch. Surrounded by her bandmates - equal parts family and friction - Lyra moves through the tour with open eyes, collecting the small, perfect moments: unfamiliar cities, shared laughter, music played too loud. Meals blur and pass unnoticed, days are shaped by movement instead of routine, and hunger feels easier to ignore when there's always somewhere else to be. Even so, part of her stays quietly tethered to home - to late-night messages, familiar routines, and Miles, steady and grounding, back in Toronto, whose life has always been on wheels - not by choice, not by novelty, but as a fact she's known since they were kids. And then there's Daniel - magnetic, reckless, impossible to ignore - offering a connection that feels weightless, immediate, alive. As the tour stretches on, the glow begins to thin. Lyra is forced to notice the quiet costs of momentum - the way her body keeps score even when her mind refuses to, the comfort she finds in control, and the difference between being wanted and being safe. Some moments feel infinite. Others slip through her fingers. And beneath it all is the realization that becoming someone new doesn't always feel like growth - sometimes it feels like disappearance. This is an intimate story about music, movement, and the spaces between people - about desire and restraint, about chasing intensity, and about learning when excitement turns into something that asks for more than you can.

High in the mist-shrouded mountains of Benguet lies Pine Rest Camp, a haven for vanlifers, backpackers, and those seeking to escape the chaos of the city. To the outsiders who pass through, it's all pine needles, fire circles, and coffee brewed strong enough to hold the fog at bay. But for those who linger, whispers of disappearances cling to the cabins and trails like smoke that never disperses. When two campers vanish, followed by the discovery of a body in the ravine, the fragile peace of Pine Rest fractures. Suspicion spreads like wildfire among the long-term dwellers: Marlon, the retired professor; Mae, the dreamer with tarot cards and unsettling visions; Paolo and Rina, artists who never stop watching; Nestor, the guarded security man; Glenn, the wanderer with secrets of his own. Even newcomers-Adrian and Vera, chasing content for their channel, and Christian, a traveler whose charm conceals his true mission-are pulled into the tightening circle of fear. As nights grow colder and paranoia sharpens, old wounds resurface: a childhood of violence buried in the mountains, a bunker built stone by stone, and the memory of a backpacker named Vincent who walked into Pine Rest and never returned. But the most dangerous truths aren't whispered around the fire. They hum softly in daylight, behind a calm smile, hidden in plain sight. And Pine Rest Camp will never let go of its secrets.

They said no hybrid could survive. She fell anyway. When Shita crashes from the sky-half-immortal, half-mortal, and entirely impossible-she's found by two wanderers with more bad ideas than clean socks: Yuukio, a demon-born trickster with a cleaver and too many opinions, and Satski, a sharp-tongued cat hybrid who pretends she isn't lonely. What begins with a waffle and an argument turns into a rebellion. Because Shita isn't just a mistake the heavens forgot to erase-she's proof that the old order is breaking. And the three of them? They're about to find out what happens when the "impure" stop apologizing for existing. A story about found family, broken systems, and the beauty of being wrong in a world that demands purity. -* This is something I found on a relic of a phone I used to own as a teen. So I decided to sort of reboot it. Giving a nod to how i began my journey as a writer and give it justice. Just a little side project as i finish up my novel before publish. I hope you enjoy <3 *-

Ola Murphy is tired of shitty men in her life-and she's tired of being hung up on shitty men. After her dog dies, her apartment floods, and she discovers that her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend, Ola finds herself stuck at her cousin's townhome with absolutely no direction as to what she should do after college graduation and no desire to find one. When an ad for a renovated tiny home van falls into her life, though, that all changes. On a shotgun road trip across the U.S., Ola starts a journey to independence, searching for what she hopes to be the feminist manifesto of documentaries. She goes cliff jumping, stays up all night to see the sunrise with a man she just met, and, even when a tire blows out, finds pride in her growing independence. But, after an old family figure suddenly walks back into her life with devastating news, Ola begins to learn that you can only outrun your problems for so long before there's nowhere left to run-or hide. And she is forced to discover her own meaning of feminism and independence.

Sophie Brennan is an eighteen year old, recent high school graduate who has no idea what she wants to do with her life. Maybe that's thanks to all the years she spent shutting herself in at home, watching as many movies as possible and living vicariously through the characters rather than worrying about her own life. Or maybe it was skipping school during that one career building day. Either way, she's stuck. Sure her part time job as a photographer for an online magazine fuels her passion, but that's never going to be enough to pay the bills. So, instead of spending money she doesn't have to go straight to college, she spends what little money she does have on a beater of a van in hopes to travel the continental US and gain an idea for her future career. However, all of that stops mattering the moment she accidentally snaps a picture of a drug moving operation, causing her once peaceful trip to turn into a run for her life. Like literally, she might die. There's guns and gangs and gross bodily fluids, oh my! Will Sophie be able to survive this action/adventure? Will she be able to turn it into a fantasy with a happily ever after? Is there any chance this is all just a romcom in disguise? No matter what the ending might become, there's no denying that this trip is totally NOT vantastic.
