When all the members agree to pick up side jobs Van must think a little outside the box and if babysitting for the brats down the street was the only way, so be it. However when their older sister Emily comes back from university, he might have a new incentive to stay.

The rise of Alt-Rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen brings with it recognition, fame, and compromise. Lead singer and founding member Van McCann has learned to balance all three of these over the course of the band's ride to fame, but there's one thing he's never gotten used to; loneliness. During a tour of the states and the writing and recording process of the band's fourth studio album, Van finds himself caught in a situation involving the girl he could never have, and her addiction to the toxic things in her life.

I'll never know if he really did mean I wasn't beautiful or if it was an honest mistake. But in truth, it really didn't matter because I found a meaning to why my mother gave me this name and I always believed fate had a path for us, and sitting here with a vomit tasting mouth and a boy who smelt of smoke I knew this was it, everything I had been, am and was going to be, collided at once.
