(Edited!) (Y/n) was just your average runaway slave, but she held a dark secret. She was as well as Hawke's eldest cousin, but also was a mage, yet no one knew. No one, except Leandra, Hawke' s mother. Leandra, one of (Y/n)'s only friends, learned of her birth from her brother, (F/n) Amell, and she went to see the small child. One thing was different however, (F/n) was an elf, and (M/n) was a dwarf. Somehow the child was much more-so, like the darkspawn, but she was still an dwelven child. That didn't stop the slavers however, and they took her away at the age of, 10. After a few years she grew attached to her master, whom was a very very kind young woman. This woman would take her to meetings in Seheron to speak wih the Qunari Arishok. (Y/n) was fluent in Qunarin and one day, she asked hem to attack the city and she would join them in it. And they did, and she as well joined them. After Seheron fell, hey branded her back with Lyrium, in the oddly familiar shape of the Amell crest. Something funny about this little Dwelf was that she was a demon too, but kept it to herself. Her master, Anna Llamar, had no clue that she was a mage, yet knew of her origins as a shape-shifter. After a short while of being with the Qunari, she traveled to Kirkwall, Where the Qunari were forced to stay, yet they allowed her... No, willed her to search for her Aunt, who sent word to her when Lothering was destroyed, and Kirkwall was to be her new home. (Y/n) learned that Leandra lived with (Y/n)'s uncle, Gamlen Amell. So she went to lowtown sadly, at night. Where she first meets Hawke and runs into trouble with Tevinter Slavers. ------------------------------------ I do no own any characters within this story or game, I only own (Y/n) Amell, Alexander Masanda and Blaze Youi, Zenfir, and his twin sister Lucy Amell. -How the Hell is this my most read story?!

Everything was bathed in blood-red hue. She saw remnants of what could only be described as Arlathan. Beautiful cities are now laying in ruin. She slowly walked through the torn streets cautiously, constantly looking around thinking something was going to pop up and ambush her. But her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a monstrous roar. Several actually and the sound of a wolf. Amanatha sprinted towards the sounds, leaping over and sliding under the debris until she found herself blocked by what appeared to be mutated plants. The roars sounded again, and she spotted the source ahead. She saw what looked to be several corrupt dragons, even more massive than the dragons in the waking world. Something stirred within her. Something familiar and terrifying. A dark howl ripped through the sky. It was defiant but singular and radiated a power she had not felt before, yet it was familiar. Her eyes widened in surprise as she rounded a corner. A wolf as black as night with six eyes as red as a burning fire stood before the several dragons.

What's it like to be a hero? Probably one of the most hardest things in life to try and be. You make hard decisions, maybe to save one but end up killing more. This is Nelora's tale to being a hero. Varric gets a letter from a secret admirer (the inquisitor)

Many DAI fanfictions are retellings of the Inquisitor's experience. This is not that. I borrow the Dragon Age Inquisition setting to tell you a story about destiny, identity, betrayal, and love. Meet Maeva, a young elven woman from lots of places, an old friend of Varric's from her time in Kirkwall. He recruits her and thus she witnesses the Inquisition and lives at Skyhold during the main events of DAI. She meets and observes all the characters and dips in on some canon stories, with focus on Lavellan and Solas, and others to varying degrees of non-canon facets. Meanwhile Maeva is going through some odd changes, such as strange dreams that begin to control her during unconscious hours. Mystery and adventure, both about the Inquisition members as well as her own origin, beg her attention. This story continues past DAI, seeking truth for Maeva and closure for Lavellan, and hopefully resolving some of the issues the game left in its wake (like my broken heart).

Lavellan, ex-boss of the now disassembled Inquisition, has a lot on her plate. Her homeland of Thedas is losing itself to chaos. The country of Tevinter is starting to lose the war to invaders called Qunari. The Empress of Orlais is losing control of her court. Lavellan knows that this weakness exactly what a certain ex-lover is looking for to start his hostile take over. With no army, a broken heart, and little time, it helps that she found an old prophecy to set her on the right track Meanwhile, Solas, once a member of the Inquisition, is walking down a dark road. When he finds out that Lavellan knows something he doesn't, he'll stop at nothing to retrieve the prophecy and read it for himself. The ever silence of the Maker is taught by the Chantry to be the result of Mankind's hubris, and that we need to earn his love again by spreading the Chant to all corners of Thedas. Most see this tenant as a challenge of their faith. Then there is some like Noel Cer de Fiorve, a former slave taken from Orlais to the Tevinter Imperium, who has seen the worst of men and women alike, and has chosen that the warped promise of Corypheus is, in the end, a better truth than the broken promises of the Maker. He quickly rises in the ranks of the Venatori until he is eventually appointed second in command under Calpurnia, who has his most challenging task yet: infiltrate the Inquisition and destroy it from the inside out.
