They stretched almost as long as the scars that were drawn across his skin but held the color that his blemishes lacked. "Breathing," Your hand inched towards his beating heart, contracting at an alarming rate for his own good. You were pretty sure you were dead. It's all just a coincidence that you happen to be stuck in the one universe that you had ranked as one of the ones you didn't ever want to get stuck in.
