Varian is stuck in prison for serveral years after attacking Corona, he slowly gives up on wanting to have his revenge, though he can't give up on the feelings he has for a certain lady-in-waiting. She is amazing artist and person and you should check her out :) Cassarian Ages are changed in this story, but so far everything in the story is canon up until this point. Varian is 16 Cassandra is 18 Cassandra had kidnapped him. He should have seen it coming, really. After all, he had the scroll that had the incantations. He was the map... It just hurt to see how far of lengths Cassie had gone. He had to do what he could to get her off the path she was going down.

A fellow Cassarian shipper hosted a Cassarian Month in August 2023, and I decided to turn my entries for it into a month of different AUs! So here they are, along with short stories to go with the art!

I decided to take part in Cassarian Appreciation Week hosted by @cassie_tangled_ (@karla_savv) and @vxariian on Instagram. I will be posting a short story per day (hopefully, if you know me on Instagram you know I'm bad with Appreciation Week deadlines haha).

The Kingdom of Corona and the Dark Kingdom had been enemies for centuries. King Edmund sent one of the brotherhood's member's son to spy on the Kingdom of Corona. The royal guard Varian is sent to Corona to fulfill that duty. Unknowingly for him, Cassandra, the Captain of the guards would never let him out of her sight, capturing his heart in the process.

All three of them are nice, maybe he'll be lucky enough to fall in love with one and she'll fall in love with him. The last thing he wanted was to force someone into a loveless marriage.
