Or so it seems. After landing a job as a Vault-Tec office assistant, your life takes an unexpected turn when you meet the man behind the silver screen. What begins as an ordinary day slowly unfolds into something far greater, as promises of a brighter tomorrow begin to crack around the edges. Because every memory has a beginning... Even his.

NOTE: This is an ongoing project, and this is a small excerpt from that project. This is something I have been doing for fun for several weeks, and the story is still underway (I'm devoting most evenings to playing with this). I don't typically write for fanfiction, but rather for historical fiction, so I will appreciate any comments or criticisms. It is 2074. A young woman who joins a Massachusetts-based Vault-Tec laboratory finds herself embroiled in continual drama. After opposing the laboratories' aims and getting herself into a scandal with the promiscuous Robert House, she becomes a target of the corporation, and so she desperately seeks support from Boston detective Nicholas Valentine. Their relationship, though obscured by two centuries of nuclear waste and desolation, rekindles. Cryogenically frozen through the error of Vault staff and crafty excuses, Wilma escapes after a raid and enters the wasteland. It is here that she meets a familiar face though one metallic and charred.

After the canonical events of Fallout 3, The Lone Wanderer, Monroe, attempts to settle down in his home in Megaton. After being newly elected as mayor, aiding Sherrif Lucas Simms, he realizes relaxation may not be an option. Several problems soon arise with a surge of travelers coming from Richmond, seeking shelter in Megaton, to disagreements with the Brotherhood of Steel DC chapter. Monroe and his companions Elliott, Fawkes, Moira, and his trusty Dogmeat must work together to tackle the responsibilities put on their shoulders to avoid the destruction of everything they've built. But not everyone in the wasteland supports their endeavors and makes it well known.

Note: My story is based on the post-apocalypse video game named Fallout 3, though I changed and added a lot of my own stuff Foreword War. War never changes. Since the dawn of humankind, when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything: from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage. A nuclear bomb affected the whole planet Earth, making the world an unsafe place for people. Houses, towns, cities all destroyed... Ruined. Blown to pieces. A co-operation named Vault-Tec was responsible for making underground vaults for a "safer place for people to stay and live" during the Great War. When people thought the war was about to finish, just then... Just then the bomb was dropped. That was 200 years ago. People named the event" The Apocalypse." The vaults are still in use. They were and still are dreadful places. Metal corridors, after metal corridors, under the ground. It feels like living in a metal cage. Even though the vaults are nothing better than death camps or prisons, thousands immigrated to the vaults for a chance of survival. What used to be a dreaded place is now considered salvation. Thus, our story begins.

"Well, ain't you sweet as Candy?" "Sweet as Soda Darlin'," Rebecca Bell was a Hollywood icon, with wide eyes and blonde curls, the money came easily. She started acting in a small sitcom, but after a deal with Nuka Cola, she finds herself on billboards all across California and even an exhibition dedicated to her in the Boston Nuka Cola World theme park. Although thousands of people wanted to be her friend, or even her lover, she finds herself rather lonely, only relying on a small group of people: including Cooper Howard. He'd call her his best friend...She'd say she was hopelessly in love with him, but she kept that a secret, something for her midnight fantasies. Nuka Cola and Vault-Tec had something in common: they wanted to protect their investments, and well, Rebecca was an investment. One that was locked up in her own secure vault, which 215 years later, releases her and she's thrown into the Wasteland. At least Moldaver had a job for her old ally. Cooper Howard x OC

Ever since the shaman's came back to the grand ole city of New Orleans. They been giving the city nothing but chaos. Can 4 escapees form vault 367 stop their made terror or will the shamans be able to stop them with a force that is more powerful than any weapon.

this is a list of my future stores/story ideas.

a young women is dragged into the world of her favorite game with no idea who did it. all she knows is one moment she's driving and the next her car is crashing into a long abandoned cabin within the world of fallout. if not for witnessing the events themselves the sole survivor would've called the girl crazy. however, when you watch a portal blast a car , that is nothing like cars you've seen, out of itself into an old cabin ... you're kind of inclined to listen and believe.

Elizabeth never knew her parents or the feeling of privilege. What she did know was that she was raised and improved to protect Vault-Tec and it's citizens, no matter the harm it brings her. A FalloutXOC story. Will follow the show.

"Crawl out through the fallout, baby, To my loving arms" Cynthia Howard was a Vault 31 resident, moved to 33 at age 17 as an 'experiment' of free choice. At least, that's what everyone was told. In truth, Cynthia was from the old world, born to Cooper Howard and his high school sweetheart. She was an intern for Vault-Tec, a job given to her by her stepmother, and when the bombs start to drop, she finds herself knocked out and put in a freezer...Thanks Barb? She wakes up 200 or so years later, and Hank Maclean is threatening to throw her out into the 'Wasteland' - whatever that is - if she doesn't cooperate. So, she fits into Vault Society and builds a fast friendship with Lucy, which soon blossoms into a crush. She'd follow her anywhere, and that includes to go find her father...only it seems they find Cynthia's dad first. Lucy MacLean x OC
