Betty Cooper, a Harvard graduate and failing archaeologist, and her best friend Veronica Lodge were offered a job with the world's most famous archaeologist, Dr.Jones. Her childhood friend Archie Andrews was the co-leader of the site Dr.Jones worked at and they were starting another project. They were in need of a new assistant and a field doctor and Archie told her that both positions were open. Betty quickly accepted the offer and it took some convincing from Archie to get Dr.Jones to agree. No one was expecting the upcoming events. FP and Alice are now married and live in what was the Cooper house (now the Cooper-Jones house). Jughead and Betty never dated and obviously aren't dating now since they're basically related. After Nana Rose unexpectedly dies, they take in Cheryl and Toni, who Nana Rose took in (they never dated). Then, Mary has to unexpectedly move back to Chicago, leaving Archie all alone, so they take him in as well.
