This story is based off of a true one about my younger sister, Sarah, and all of her solutions to getting out of eating her vegetables every night. It's a writing contest entry, and I hope you like it:)

Laura Apollodoros Hyginus La Mer, a mermaid who is really sad, like, literally all the time because the things she currently has does not make her happy at all! And two of her butlers who try to make the poor mermaid see that she can be thankful for the stuff she has. One day, three crooked saleswomen from a new store being built down the street show up at Laura's doorstep and begin to manipulate her that she needs more stuff to be happy. How will this go? This is a Pretty Cure fanfiction is based off of VeggieTales' Madame Blueberry episode.

Post apocalypse... Nelly is lucky because about one year before the world crumbled into chaos she moved to a small farm far away from any cities or any other people really. Having a degree in botanic and having worked in a gardening shop saved her from starving and a big chunk of luck saved her from being discovered. Of course she heard the news when everything went down and the last time she was in the nearest town still gave her nightmares, but all in all she was rather well off. Well until of course she was stupid enough to venture out again, to run some errands and eventually to look for her brother Milo.

This makes La Mer's wisewomen very jealous, so they plot to convince La Mer into signing a new law that if no one prays to her, then they'll get thrown into the lions' den. And since Inori was caught praying to God several times, La Mer had no choice but to throw her into the lions' den. Will Inori ever find a way to survive? This Pretty Cure story is based off of the 2nd segment of the 1st episode of VeggieTales, "Daniel and the Lions' Den". And just to clear things up, no, I'm not Christian. This idea of VeggieTales x Pretty Cure is all for fun and entertainment. And with that out of the way, I hope you enjoy reading this! :D Update (December 9th, 2023): I have decided to rewrite this book as well as some of my other books to match how I write my books.
