Harry had been lured to the Ministry of Magic and the battle in the chamber of the Veil of Death was ready to rip his godfather away from him. In the last moments however, with Harry desperately wishing for a saviour, a trick, a fluke, anything, a shadow emerged - reaching for Sirius. (Part of the series 'A World Beyond Azkaban's Grey Stone', but can be read as a stand-alone.)

" Time had slowed, the air stale and the room cold. Everything was empty, a void of nothingness. Not a thing, in that moment, mattered except grabbing the one saving grace that Harry had left in this miserable world. Those words, those words, they only ever brought anguish to Harry's life, they had only ever ripped apart those sweet moments of happiness that Harry held onto dearly. " When Harry ran through The Veil after Sirius, he woke up in a time unlike his own, in a Universe the same yet different from him own. Harry must navigate through this new time, unknowing if he'll ever return back to his own time or become trapped in the past.

Hadrian James Potter Peverell has outlived all his friends and their descendants. Depressed, alone, and unable to age nor die, Harry decides to go through the veil to end his life or if not, find out what happened to his godfather, Sirius Black, years ago. Fortunately or unfortunately, he meets Death-yes, Death with a capital D- and is dumped head first into the Elemental Nations. Fate must hate him though. Meet Revelle Harīko, Harry's counterpart in the elemental nations. Now, Harry must deal with crazy ninjas, gravity defying shinobis, sword wielding maniacs, magic like chakra, and of course, being a girl!

DoM AU where Harry has a much worse reaction to Sirius falling into The Veil of Death. Or I was bored and tired so I made more half-assed Harry Potter angst and cried all the while. So, TW for death. But I think that's a given. Also, no cover because I'm tired and lazy.

The first outlines of an old memory emerged in Sirius's mind. Like breath misting on a cold glass. He remembered the strange dream he had, before he woke up in the mud, straight from duelling Bellatrix and fighting in the Death Room, of a place he didn't know but he remembered, he remembered a pub, and a storm in the 1960s, coming to see Alphard when he was about seven, and of some local muggles- what had that man said? Something about a place where the spirit world comes close. How Skye was a thin place. He just never expected to see the Isles again, after Azkaban, never mind his Uncle Alphard or his little brother Regulus... But that's the Other Side, so they say. It was the year 1966 and the Wizarding World he knew was gone. Some things seemed the same- like James and the Potters, they seemed normal, as normal as a six year old James Potter could have really been. But things were different. It was all different, and it terrified him- his mother was dead already, for one. And also, if Sirius could just stop forgetting about the other world and the way things went that time, that'd be just great. (Dimension-Travel AU)

When Sirius died... Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is written for the first regular Froday Challenge for October 2022, the prompt being Heaven - something quick to turn in on time. When Sirius died, is meant to be the veil, but it can be interpreted in other ways if one wants.

When a weird Archway with a mysterious veil inside appeared in the Underworld, Nico was suspicious. When a man fell through, Nico knew he had to save him. But should he trust the veil? He didn't know what it was. A portal? And how did the man get through alive, even if it was barely?
