To those who read an unhealthy amount of fiction to disappear into a world where they can fly high enough to touch the skies. And to the stars who listen. The connection between mates. The instant rush of emotion for the unknown shadowsinger was only interrupted by her disappearance in the shadow realm with the attacker. It becomes not only a challenge to figure out who his mate could be, but also how to defeat the rouge group presenting itself in efforts to tear apart the peace between courts. Keres has always known one thing, that her younger brother would be high lord someday. As the firstborn daughter of the high lord of summer, she as a female was a disappointment. However a few years after she was born, her brother came into the world, and the fates were sealed. Her brother would be the future High lord, and she would be his right hand. However under the firm hand of her mother and instructors, her powers only emerged further and far beyond anyone thought possible. Since then, Keres has been trained by various high fae to control the powers that feels like a tidal wave ready to crush her. The powers she learns to control turn into her greatest weapon against a rising foe. But after a mission goes astray and she comes face to face with someone who she never thought to be connected to, duty and emotions conflict.

When I was born it was always Thesan and Athena never mind the fact that I was born 7 minutes before him and the same was true through all of our life. When our father died it was no exception you would think that the first born child would be crowned, false, apparently it's only the first born male. But I guess it wasn't totally awful when Thesan was crowned High Lord of the Dawn Court he assigned me Commander of the Dawn Court's Armies. Well until he met his lover but I'm getting ahead myself. This is where my story begins. I did not create any of these characters, places, or basic storylines. Our beautiful Sarah J Mass did us the honor of creating them. The only thing I have created is Athena and her story.

I couldn't help but feel a flicker of curiosity as I glanced at the tall, mysterious figure standing next to me in the gallery. Was it really Azriel the Spymaster of the Night Court, rumoured to be one of the deadliest and captivating Illyrian in existence? Little did I know, this encounter with him in the art gallery would change my life forever...
