A hunter from a small village comes home to find his family and friends dead, the village destroyed, and a large creature flying into the distance. He wanted vengeance. He dedicates himself to becoming a hunter of a different sort, and begins to hunt monsters and other evil beings. What lengths will he go to in order to reach his goal?

Things get worse...they always get worse. Can you imagine yourself trying to make a friend and end up almost dying just for being different, but you don't even know how different you are yourself. Tell me what can get better than that. Now Zayne enters a new world of love, family, friendship, and guess what war. Will things just continue to become worse then it is for this boy who just wanted to fit in.

It's Halloween, and Karina notices something strange in the town where she lives. Among the pumpkins and fake tombstones, people are... vanishing. It seems into thin air. The clock is set and time is running out... Can she stop who, or what, is causing these disappearances? Before the next target hits a little too close to home?

Letti wasn't human. No one living on Earth was. Like thousands around the world, she was a Prime, the previous state before the Mutari decided what species they were to be: a deadly creature of the Lamia, a vampire, or one of the Venator, a beast genetically engineered by humans to hunt vampires. Letti was just an average Prime awaiting her turn for preternatural prowess. But what happens when she awakens a highly unusual queen deemed dead by her lover long ago?

Johnathan Everdine, thats my name. Perhaps you've heard of me, after all, I used to be one of the leading gamers in the country. If you havent heard of my real name, then you've probably heard my username, Armis. But who I am is only part of my story, let me tell you the rest. I grew up in a small town, middle of nowhere, nothing happened there. Everyone was trash, I got bullied daily, and I honestly never thought I would be important, I always thought my life would be meaningless, with a unimportant end. My mother and I were always struggling with money, she always had to work double shifts at the local dinner, and when I turned sixteen, I instantly had to get a job. But when I hit highschool, my mom bought me a computer. I have no idea how she got it, or even where, and honestly, I didnt care, I saw the computer as a way to escape from this horrible life, and live others through games. Danger and death around every corner, those were my kind of games. Hardcore horror and survival, I loved them so much, and it seemed right away I was a natural at them. I guess I was born with practical thinking and strategic skills because I always found the two came naturaly to me. But even so, what I learned from these games I played, and all of the skills I developed, could never have prepared me for what happened, what changed my real life, as well as my gamming life forever. Note from the author: This is a work in progress and I havent really written many stories in my life, so any critisism, tips, or any proof reading would be greatly appreciated, thanks. :)

This short story is a folk story that I've created as a means to world building for my new Fantasy series 'Venator' that will hopefully be coming out soon on this site. The story follows a young orphaned boy who meets a fox that is too clever for his own good. Any feedback or advice at all is welcome!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Dark times have fallen on the rebellion. Emboldened by their success at the battle of Yavin, the ALLIANCE TO RESTORE THE REPUBLIC launched a massive campaign, called the MID RIM OFFENSIVE, capturing many imperial worlds in the process. But they are formed by the Council of the Supernaturals, and again - the real world has all type of creatures hidden from the human eye. Sasha had a pretty life growing up as a servant in the leader of SNARES Peter Venator's house. Sure she had some chores to do and had to deal with Peter's son Aidyn, but it was a pretty easy life until Peter tells her she has a mission to do. Sasha is not like the other vampires. She's a hybrid never seen before and as such, has all the strengths and almost none of the weaknesses of normal vampires. Her mission is to capture one of the most terrifying beings on the planet; a necromancer. With the help of COVEC prisoners Lily, Zachariah, and Jamie, Sasha sets out into a world of danger, mystery, and even a little romance, all while trying to hide from her past and who she truly is.

The Venators, a group made up entirely of women, are harsh enforcers of a twisted government. They kill anyone who is suspected of plotting against the government, and their whole family. They were trained since birth to be heartless and cruel. Robin was left alive by a Venator after watching his whole family die. Marian was only a baby when her parents were killed and she was taken to become one of them, to become a Venator. They have an important destiny, but will they succeed?
