Venator Stories

So, my name is Aphrodite - yes after the Greek Goddess of Love. I suppose my parents had a 50/50 chance of the name being suitable or not. A venator is practically an assassin or spy, depending on the mission quota. But they are formed by the Council of the Supernaturals, and again - the real world has all type of creatures hidden from the human eye. But what happens when I my mission ends up more complicated then first planned? When everything runs amuck do I stand tall or shrink back? Well read on and you'll find out... (Cannot space due to iPod and the blurb may be crap and cliche yet I don't think the story will turn that way)

A hunter from a small village comes home to find his family and friends dead, the village destroyed, and a large creature flying into the distance. He wanted vengeance. He dedicates himself to becoming a hunter of a different sort, and begins to hunt monsters and other evil beings. What lengths will he go to in order to reach his goal?

Letti wasn't human. No one living on Earth was. Like thousands around the world, she was a Prime, the previous state before the Mutari decided what species they were to be: a deadly creature of the Lamia, a vampire, or one of the Venator, a beast genetically engineered by humans to hunt vampires. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Dark times have fallen on the rebellion. Emboldened by their success at the battle of Yavin, the ALLIANCE TO RESTORE THE REPUBLIC launched a massive campaign, called the MID RIM OFFENSIVE, capturing many imperial worlds in the process. But soon, the empire got back on it's feet and launched a counterattack, crushing much of the rebel's military might. Now, as the rebellion struggles to once again disappear into the shadows, captain ISCE SHACK, commander of the Venator-class star destroyer LIBERATION, has been tasked with covering their withdrawal via any means necessary. However, this is easier said than done; a cunning and ruthless enemy commander, one which also has a personal bone to pick with the young captain, has been tasked with hunting down this rogue battleship to pave the way for the Alliance's ultimate demise, and he intends to carry out his orders until either his enemy's ships burn and they bleed out beneath his boot, or he himself is destroyed beneath the wait of his own anger. In the ensuing standoff, it will take more than simple power, tactics, or even luck to destroy the enemy; it will require brains, trickery, and the willingness to take risks, even when all seems lost. But one way or another, decisions, friends, and even enemies always seem have a way of careening back together once again; you just have to be ready for when they inevitably explode. I always believed that the Rebel Alliance had a Venator but I could never find anything to prove it, so I decided to make my own proof based on something I know tons about. And who knows, maybe I'll even do a sequel! Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN STAR WARS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, I am simply making a cool story in the universe and I only own the story, the characters, blah blah blah other legal BS.

Tell me what can get better than that. Now Zayne enters a new world of love, family, friendship, and guess what war. Will things just continue to become worse then it is for this boy who just wanted to fit in.

This short story is a folk story that I've created as a means to world building for my new Fantasy series 'Venator' that will hopefully be coming out soon on this site. The story follows a young orphaned boy who meets a fox that is too clever for his own good. Any feedback or advice at all is welcome!

Johnathan Everdine, thats my name. Perhaps you've heard of me, after all, I used to be one of the leading gamers in the country. If you havent heard of my real name, then you've probably heard my username, Armis. But who I am is only part of my story, let me tell you the rest. I grew up in a small town, middle of nowhere, nothing happened there. Everyone was trash, I got bullied daily, and I honestly never thought I would be important, I always thought my life would be meaningless, with a unimportant end. My mother and I were always struggling with money, she always had to work double shifts at the local dinner, and when I turned sixteen, I instantly had to get a job. But when I hit highschool, my mom bought me a computer. I have no idea how she got it, or even where, and honestly, I didnt care, I saw the computer as a way to escape from this horrible life, and live others through games. Danger and death around every corner, those were my kind of games. Hardcore horror and survival, I loved them so much, and it seemed right away I was a natural at them. I guess I was born with practical thinking and strategic skills because I always found the two came naturaly to me. But even so, what I learned from these games I played, and all of the skills I developed, could never have prepared me for what happened, what changed my real life, as well as my gamming life forever.
