In 2004 "L'Uomo Ragno - Il segreto del vetro" - the only Spider-Man official story written and designed by Italians comic book artists - was published. It was a story set in Venice, but not only in famouse place as San Marco Square or the Rialto Bridge: the center of the action were places as the Murano Island, the Saint Michel cimitery and all the Holden and darker calli and campielli of the Serenissima. As Italian fan of Spider-Man and the MCU I want homage the work of the Faracci and Cavazzano duo, with this story where (through MCU Peter Parker's eyes) fans from other countries could learn something about my country, especially because .... I am not from Venice! ,-)

Anno 2092, vengono ritrovati e pubblicati due diari contenenti delle lettere dimenticate che raccontano le vicende degli assassini e dell'Abstergo Industries in Italia nel decennio 2015-2025. I protagonisti di questi due diari si chiamano Alberto Bellaria e Rossella Ferri, due professori di un liceo a Bari, in Puglia. In questi anni gli assassini sono costretti a nascondersi a covi segreti, e per le strade cercare di non destare dubbi fra la gente dei tempi moderni. I tempi e i costumi cambiano ma la storia no: all'interno dei due diari si raccontano i vari scontri tra gli assassini e gli agenti templari dell'Abstergo per la conservazione dei manufatti della Prima Civilizzazione. L'Abstergo ha l'obiettivo di sfruttare questi manufatti per produrre nuove tecnologie avanzate, il moderno Ordine degli assassini rifiuta tutto ciò e punta a conservare e mantenere questi potenti strumenti.
