Y/n L/n and Venom's plan to lay low did not work. They stayed in Mexico for a while until Y/n's name made international headlines for the suspected murder of Officer Patrick Mulligan. They set out for New York City to clear Y/n's name, but they end up in a deep hole when Venom's home begins to hunt them down.
