His magnificent wings, wide and resplendent, fluttered gently, casting a cool shadow that shielded her from the harsh rays of the sun. The creature's gaze was steady and filled with a mix of awe and melancholy. "A snow fox in the middle of a warm forest," he said, his voice a soothing murmur. "Are you perhaps lost?"?"
