pag- asa ng kaluluwan roughly translates to the yearning or hoping of one's soul. in this book, you will find a little collection of my poems, thoughts, insecurities, and others. hopefully, this collection of tidbits of my life will give you some sort of comfort or solace or at least help reassure you that you are not entirely alone. we all feel, we all hope, we all dream, we all lose ourselves sometimes, and it's okay to feel all of that. it's okay, we can cry together, smile together. eventually, we will all be okay, hopefully. just a preface: first, I wrote all of these in the heat of the moment are often unchecked grammatically. I apologize in advance. second, though the title is in Tagalog, the poems will mostly be in English, I cant guarantee that there will be Tagalog poems here. My story, as told by me. Sage was born into an unhealthy household and when her parents were too preoccupied to raise her, the internet never failed to step in, the Bayside highlights the reality of being a young girl in the early 2010s and the predatory behaviours that were exhibited. The Bayside is a vent piece written years later as a retelling of events as they were remembered and may be unsettling or triggering for some. This story discusses child abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and grooming as told by a victim and has not been revised by a professional. This story is recommended for the adult audience due to its themes. Please remember that your health matters most.
