Es una historia que se ubica entre los años 1910 a 1918, en esta historia la vida de un profesor se ve inmersa entre lo cotidiano y lo pacífico de un pueblo francés, todo en su vida transcurre con normalidad hasta que se ve obligado a tomar parte en uno de los conflictos más despiadados de la historia humana. Él se verá en la obligación de tomar una decisión en defensa de su patria, de su gente y de su amor.

Two soldiers were supposed to die in the opening days of the Battle of Verdun. Their survival alters the course of the First World War in unpredictable ways. On land, sea and air the battle for survival continues as world history moves down a very different path.

28 de Junio de 1914, el mundo se revuela, esperamos un conflicto, nosotros los franceses estamos preparados para esto creemos que será una guerra corta, empuñar el rifle y volver a casa antes de navidad, cuanto mucho unas mil bajas o capaz que menos, como oficial no puedo esperar ver a mi batallón, mañana será día de reclutamiento y se asignara la falange hasta ahora no puedo dormir.

Lettre d'un poilu à ses parents durant la 1ere guerre mondiale

Wendy Darling's younger brother, John, meets an odd fate on the Western Front during the First World War... Another episode from the novel, "The Lost Girls."

Louis Reich was a ordinary man, owning a large house and working for a successful company… until his world was turned upside down. Thousands of miles away when a assassin fired the shot heard around the world that killed the Archduke of Austria-Hungary Franz Ferdinand and started the Great War. Now Louis must join the French army and survive gas attacks,artillery fire and shots from enemy snipers,but is now forced against his will to kill the men of his generation that are only in a different uniform.

In the Battle of Verdun, a French battalion battles the Imperial German Army. On the verge of defeat, the Germans unleash a new gas. It goes awry. The gas not only kills the men affected by it but makes them come back, but not in any good way. It decomposes them fast, giving them the appearance of dead men walking. They attack any and all, eating them. With no other choice, the remaining French and German troops unite to survive.

1916, Verdun, France, bullets are fired and cannonades are resonating. Camille, a young soldier, takes advantage of a moment of calm to write to his beloved, Jeanne.

Un soldado francés en la primera guerra mundial, exactamente en la batalla de Verdun.

"Cette annonce de grossesse est la cause de ce journal. Je veux plus tard le léguer à mon enfant, afin qu'il ou elle ait une trace de mon passage sur Terre, un héritage de son père. Et éventuellement, si les circonstances s'y prêtent, que mon enfant soit fier de moi." Pierre Dupuy a 23 ans en 1914. Son journal de bord ainsi que les quelques lettres qu'il y a glissé vont vous faire voyager depuis son petit village jusqu'au cœur des tranchées. Les personnages sont entièrement fictifs, mais les évènements cités sont bien réels.
