Unfortunately for him, he has chosen one of the last angels on Earth who truly loves humans and assigned her to watch over the most human feeling half demons she has ever met. This fanfic is based on the computer game "Devil May Cry 4", but it can be read without knowing anything about the game, cause I only got the idea from it and even changed some things.

The final battle, Dante VS Vergil, one will walk away from this. Dante is sustaining a lot of injuries and Vergil is exhausting him. Eventually, the younger twin can't go on and falls to his knees, ready for the ending blow. Vergil raises his sword but the next thing he knows, everything is white and then Dante is sitting before Vergil, but now he's no older than 1. Vergil, not being able to bring himself to kill Dante, takes the baby home.
