A collection of Devil May Cry reader-inserts!

A one-shot story about an ordinary woman who worked all her life to provide for her family and supposedly partner for life. However, she still ended up losing him to someone who barely lifted a finger, because she's hotter. Will she ever meet someone who would put her first before something else, no matter how important his own life goals are? Trigger warning: Mention of depression and plan for escape. Reader discretion is advised. Warning: This xfemalereader fanfic is based on DMC5 Vergil but I incorporated a bit of vampire element, in reference to him consuming humanblood as Urizen in the game. Note: The story will start around the time he escaped the Underworld and before he found Nero's location. Also, this book will contain violence due to the nature of the game itself. Reader discretion is advised. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters, photos and related storyline of Devil May Cry Franchise, nor I plan to use it for any other purpose. This is a Devil May Cry X Reader, mainly you're a reborn (aka: a retired demon half angel, spreading hope and helping lost souls). This is during the 5th game with V at first then finding out it's been Vergil the entire time. Enjoy! Oh also there might be some Lemons in here but I'll give warnings before and they can easily be skipped if wanted. The pictures/cover does not belong to me, all credit to the artists, thank you (same goes towards some of the characters of the Devil May Cry series).

Your life as a princess has always been predictable. Court dinners, queen preparation classes, silk gowns, and peaceful gardens. Until the night someone tries to kill you. The blade that was meant for your heart turns the castle into something far more dangerous than the life you had planned. Whispers move through the halls, loyalties blur, and the people who are sworn to protect you begin to look like strangers. The king calls for his most formidable knight to protect you. Cold. Feared. Unreachable. Vergil Sparda. This will be a slow burn so please be patient Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of the DMC universe. However I do own this story/plot. I take inspiration from songs. If a song has inspired a chapter, it will be posted at the very end. I do use AI for spell check, grammar check, and formatting so I do not murder myself over re-reading everything a million times.
