Oblivion is a story about Kris, a girl who suffers from schizophrenia. She was guided by her friend, Sean, in the real world and in the world she created. Together, they will try to surpass the challenge of Kris's past and try to create a better future.

Verity Blood was raised in an unstable home, born into an unstable society where people were always against her. Putting up walls was something that came naturally, nobody ever saw her cry, and no one ever would have her heart. After years like this, and through some hardship. Verity is able to find someone who she trusts with her heart and loves more than herself. But life cruelly takes this person away from her in a slow and painful way. With a fresh wound in her heart. Verity pushes through her senior year trying to hold herself together and survive the truth.

Masqueraders. Creatures from another planet that inhabited the earth many years after mankind's appearance. With the abilities to do almost anything, these human looking aliens could take the world at any given time. However, from orders of their superior that died many years back, they were left with one command: do not destroy the human race. With that said, four guardians were meant to protect the world, harnessing the most powerful abilities the Masqueraders had ever seen. Unfortunately, when one of the four guardians goes bad, it's up to the other three to find suitors and transfer their power before control slips out of their grasp. With the appearance of a mystery Masquerader, things quickly take a turn for the worse and the four oblivious humans are left to battle it out with growing forces. The trials of coming events will force three of the suitors to dig deeper into the world of Masqueraders, and will push them closer to discovering the only person that can help them. Basically, alternative endings from my own point of view for Colleen Hoover Books. To clarify, all are SAD alternative endings. These alternative endings contain spoilers so please do not read if you haven't read the book. Colleen Hoover is brilliant and I LIVE for her books. I always cry while reading her books but she always manages to place a smile on my face while reading the happy epilogues. But sometimes, I can't help but think of what might happen if the characters of her books were real, what will happen? If you're interested in knowing what too, then please start reading those alternative endings. P.S: Do not read without tissues.

Verity had always wondered if she was her mother's daughter. Her mother had paid little or no attention to her, preferring her sisters and even her distance cousin over her. When bankruptcy strikes her family again, her mother presented her to be married, not to a Duke, or an Earl but to a struggling young man who used to he her sister's lover.
