Was this all some terrifying nightmare. Veronica has become a famous mystery writer. What the fans of her books don't know is. All she wrote about was true. When she finds a cryptic message at her local coffee house, Veronica has a strange hope that her killer is alive somewhere in hiding.........

Veronica Sawyer is back in high school, this time as a teacher. She's determined to make school an enjoyable place for her students, and when she gets stuck teaching the 1999 equivalents of the Heathers, she's ready to shut it down as quickly as possible.

The last person Jason Dean expected to meet on the first day of senior year was a girl hiding underneath a lunch table. And he certainly didn't expect to become friends with her.

After the events of Veronica Sawyer's senior year, she's tried to put her dark past behind her and live a normal life away from Sherwood, but when her work takes her home again, she begins to find the past is haunting her. As the bodies pile up, she will work tirelessly to figure out what's going on... If she can balance that and being a mother to twins.
