Eight years after winning Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, Charlie Bucket is left mourning the loss of the extraordinary Chocolatier. Upon reminiscing about his life and time with the enigmatic candy man, Charlie decided it's finally right for him to reach out to the four children he'd met all those years ago through that tour and to make things right between them all. With four letters finding their owners, they are all beckoned to the factory, a place that left scars, mentally and physically. Just how have their lives fared after the tour changed them drastically? Are they better off or are they worse for having gone through it? Only time will tell, and perhaps some healing can happen. This time, Charlie takes responsibility into showing off the factory and tour, but realizes that not all kids are blessings. Veruca Salt, the little brute, does not go down the garbage chute, instead she is bitten by one of the squirrels, little does she know that the bite will cause her to change into something that she never wanted to in the first place. And maybe have a bit of a romance with a certain good boy too. Note: While I do prefer the Gene Wilder movie, this fanfiction will be on the Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It's been 2 years since Charlie inherited the factory and 2 years since he and his family lived with Mr. Wonka and his father, Dr. Wonka, in the wonderful Wonka Factory... ...
