This is a story based off of a D&D campaign. The world history is based on a campaign idea my DM made, but the story is the background of my original character (a Tiefling Druid named Farley). This is just a very short story that tells the origin story of my character and potentially creates the setting for future stories based on this D&D campaign. A short writing exercise playing on the point of view of different characters.

I Give Up is a short imaginative monologue from the perspective of Newt from James Dashner's "The Maze Runner" book series. It was created for a presenting assignment I had to do. I thought it was pretty good so i'll share it with you all. Bare in mind that this is my own interpretation of there characters thoughts and feeling and I in no way take ownership of the character "Newt". I have not read the last book so please, if something is wrong or out of place, thats why. I tried my best i'm sorry. This monologue is set somewhere in between "The Scorch Trials" and "The Death Cure" I hope you enjoy.

"The Enchanted Veil" is a tale of Luke, a curious teenager living in the town of Glenbrook. One day, he discovers an old map with a faint glowing path leading into the forest. Intrigued, he shares this secret with his best friend, Emma. Together, they follow the path and stumble upon a hidden portal to a mysterious world called Elysia.

~Second Book In Story of Us Series~ A year ago I left him. A year ago I lost her. I broke his heart. I realized how much I loved her. He hated me. I love her. I still love him. She doesn't love me. I ran away. I let her get away. ••• A year later I saw him. I ran across her pretty face. I looked at him and met his eyes. She still had those beautiful eyes. He was with another girl. She was here alone. I looked away. She can't even look me in the eye. My face turned red, thinking how I still loved him. Her face is red with hate. He loved another. She probably moved on. I can't move on. I can't love another. He doesn't want me. I need her. I left him. I let her go. He hated me. I love her. I still love him. She hates me. I left him. I lost her.

During the unnecessary and grotesque second world war, the Germans and the English were strictly restricted to bond as they saw each other as rival enemies. But with Joanne and Lieutenant Matthias Kotler, their story is a whole new thing.
